India vs Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 : Brett Lee refuses to pick his favourite

Former Australian speedster Brett Lee, speaking on the sidelines of official game launch of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 by Disney India titled ‘ICC Pro Cricket 2015′, refrained from picking a winner between India and Pakistan on their February 15 World Cup clash at the Adelaide Oval.

‘’Anyone can beat anyone in the world cup. Whether it’s the world cup cricket or the world cup game, anyone can beat anyone. The most important thing about this world cup coming up is that it showcases cricket, it showcases a lot of talent and it’s really going to showcase Australia as well.’’ Lee said. When asked to pick favourites for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Lee felt the most complete side, irrespective of the fact whether the team is full of superstars or not, will lift the tittle on March 29 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

“I have said it all along that the team that will lift the trophy on March 29th will be the most complete team. So that doesn’t mean on paper they are the best cricket nation, it doesn’t even mean that every player is a superstar in that team. What it means is that the team which over the course of seven weeks of world cup plays best cricket on every particular match day is the champion,’’ Lee said.

Asked which team has the best bowling attack, the former pace sensation added home side Australia has a very balanced and strong bowling attack.

“In terms of balance, if they’re all firing on one particular day, Australia to me has got a very balanced and a strong bowling attack. Just to mention a few, they have got Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood along with a lot of guys on the sidelines as well,’’ he said. Lee further added, “I think England too has world class bowlers in James Anderson, Steve Finn and Stuart Broad. Also, the South African team has Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel along with others who can play the role.. The Indian side too has got the depth – they have a bus load of cricketers but it is necessary to have the right combination of playing eleven at the right time. New Zealand have got some good fast bowlers as well along with some good slower bowlers. Anyone on their particular day has got the chance to win.’’

‘ICC Pro Cricket 2015′ game can be played on computers with a cut-down version also made for smartphones. The game will be available on iOS and Android platforms. Computer users will be able to download the game from for $9.99 while for smartphones, users can download it for free.
