We all have heard that ‘opposites attract’. And, maybe those differences are the biggest reasons, which make two people fall for each other. After all, these characteristics contribute to a great chemistry in a relationship.
But, when the husband is a party pooper and the wife is totally opposite, things turn out to be either funny or annoying, at times. We are sure all our lovely ladies, who have anti-social husbands would totally agree to this. In fact, whenever there is a party invite at home, these ‘party-haters’ always have a few standard statements to give. So, read on to find out what they are:
#1. Hamari shaadi me aaye the kya?
As soon as any of your or his relatives (or even friends or colleagues) invite you two for a party, first thing he would always do is, cross-check whether they attended your wedding?
#2. Par hame kyon bulaya hai?
If the hosts are the distant relatives of any of you two, he would be wondering why have they called ‘us’? And, he would be full of excuses, like we haven’t met for years; you never even told me about them, are they really close; etc.
#3. Dekh lo tumhari marzi hai!
Even though he would be touched with the warmth with which you two have been invited, he would still try his best to give it a miss. He would show complete reluctance to go, and will leave everything on your ‘marzi’.
#4. Aaj hi hai kya?
You give him constant reminders and arrange his clothes a week in advance. No matter what you do to make him aware, he will always complain on the D-day that he did not know it was today. Yes, we know it is too irritating!
#5. Door bahut hai
Traffic is literally his last resort to avoid the function. He would do his best to convince you that venue is too far and traffic is tormenting. Maybe weather also works in his favour that day. He will also look for other social or political reasons, such as elections, safety, etc., to sell his idea of staying at home.
#6. Party thodi boring hai, nahi?
Considering his anti-social nature, it is expected that he would hardly be able to get along with people quite fast. And, he will keep strolling around the food stalls or simply smile artificially in front of people who try to talk to him. And, he will never fail to find a chance and whisper in your ears that party is very boring, and catching a movie at home would have been a better idea.
#7. Main toh bas tumhari khushi ke liye aaya tha.
You may feel guilty about his boring evening, and confess the same on way back home. And, if your husband is an adorable darling, he would not forget to say this cheesy line. Or, maybe this is his idea to secure rest of the night as a treat and avoid the next invitation coming his way.
Well ladies, before you get busy in a fun-fight with him as you share this article with your darling husband, do not forget to share with us more statements that your anti-social husband might be saying, in the comments box below.
